Ukraine gets EUR 260 mln from EU

Ukraine has received EUR 260 million worth of the second and third tranches of the EU’s macro-financial assistance, the Ukrainian government portal has reported.
“As part of financial cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union Ukraine has received a loan of 260 million euros (the second and third tranches of the EU macro-financial assistance),” reads the report.
The borrowing rate is 1.375%. The maturity date of the credit obligation is October 4, 2024.
The funds were granted to Ukraine as part of the EU macro-financial assistance amounting to EUR 610 million.
The next installment in the amount of EUR 250 million is expected in February 2015.
